Eighteen Boda-Boda 2010 suspects who were apprehended by Chieftaincy of Military Intelligence operatives last week have been released . This comes after investigators screened more than 30 Boda-Boda members and 18
were found out not to have been participated in the murder of Case Hospital accountant Francis Ekalugar and other related crimes. When we contacted UPDF Spokesperson, Brig Richard Karemire confirmed the information. "we have released some of the suspects whom we found were not involved in the criminal activities that we were investigating but we shall keep monitoring thier ways"
He said He added that some of the released suspects were arrested after they tried to resist military from arresting the suspected criminals. Boda Boda 2010 patron , Abdul Kitatta, his brother Kiwalabye Huzairu, Mawa Muzamiru, a driver of Dr Ssebale Kato – the Case hospital proprietor; two Congolese nationals Muhindo and Bizimani David have remained in detention . They are expected to appear in court next week on charges of murder, Robert and Kidnap.
