The confirmation of the death of Sheikh Nuhu Muzaata, the director of Dawa and spokesperson of the Kibuli Muslim faction.
His death remains a mystery before an official postmortem report but there has been talk he had been arrested while some other sources indicated he had been suffering from hysteria.
But in press confereyon Wednesday where the Supreme Mufti, Sheikh Siliman Kasule Ndirangwa, told the nation Sheikh Muzaata in stable condition, he also said the cleric was suffering from normal illness.
Muzaata was rushed to the International Hospital Kampala two weeks ago. He tested negative of covid19. His body still in we in that hospital mortuary.
A number of people have taken to social media and paid tribute to Muzaata who they said was an outspoken figure.
He has controversially attacked government over its human rights credentials and at the same time he was critical of Buganda kingdom premier Charles Peter Mayiga for his handling of kingdom land issues.
