TANGA ODOI IS PROXY

Written by  Feb 27, 2018

It's Rebecca Kadaga and PPS Molly Kamukama fighting Lumumba. The disagreement  between  two NRM Gurus , the Secretary General Justine Lumumba Kasule and the party electoral commission  chairman  Tanga Odoi has

taken  another  twist  with  a stunning revelation by  insider  that  the controversial  former Makerere don is being used by some powerful  personalities for their selfish ends.

Eyewitness24 can reveal with authority that among the powerful NRM personalities using Tanga Odoi the bring down the amiable Lumumba  are led by none the Speaker of Parliament Rebecca Kadaga who is envious of  the Secretary general  for many achievement despite her short stint as since she replace Amama Mbabazi in December 2015

Another person whose proxy wars, Tanga is naively fighting is the power Principal Private Secretary (PPS) to the President, Molly Naawe Kamukama.  Kamukama who has been working as the PPS since November 2016 is a former political assistant to the NRM party chairman of Uganda's ruling party, National Resistance Movement.

Impeccable source at Plot 10 Kyaddondo road confided to Eyewitness24 that both Kadaga and Kamukama are baying for Lumumba’s blood and have pump huge amounts of accelerate her down fall for their narcissistic reasons.

For starters, Kadaga, has long envied any raising star Musoga politician for fear of losing her tag as the Kingmaker in the Busoga sub region affairs after the former Vice president Dr. Specioza Wandira Kazibwe, Deputy Premier Alhaj Ali Kirunda Kivejinja and other faded into the oblivion.

For that matter Lumumba became her first target when she was first appointed a Minister in May 2011 and started fighting her day & night along with other Busoga promising  politicians such as Asuman Kiyingi, Margaret Mbeiza,  Daudi Migereko, Isaac musumba, Bageya Nsoolo, Kizige MOSES, Kategere Thomas, Magola Zirabamuzale, Lukia Nakadama etc {googleads right}

However, Lumumba proved to be a hard nut for Kadaga to crack when she kept rising and rising that she scooped the prestigious Secretary General slot to leaving Kadaga the most frustrated.

With the so many successes registered by Lumumba in just a short stint as the Secretary General such as the many by election she has won and the cohesion she has created at the NRM secretariat, Kadaga has every reason to envy her especially at this time when her (Kadaga) star status is rapidly falling   in wake of her recent handling of the age limit bill that left her perceived popularity in tatters.

As for Kamukama, the reason why she hates Lumumba to the marrow, are all but financial. It is an open secret in the corridors of State House that Kamukama is love with Moses Balyeku, the NRM MP for Jinja Municipality West.

 We have it on good record that Lumumba has on several occasion foiled attempts by Kamukama and Balyeku to fleece President Museveni of billions of Shilling in the name of mobilizing for NRM and other dirty deals.

No wonder, when the bickering between Lumumba and Tanga started, Kamukama was the first to post a message allegedly from the President to the effect that that Lumumba should concentrate on her work.

The infighting between  Lumumba and Tanga has attracted 15 district chairpersons and regional coordinators’ to call on party chairman President  Museveni to ‘take action’ against Tanga Odoi, their electoral commission chairperson.{googleads right}

The district leaders under their umbrella body, NRM district chairpersons’ forum told a news conference at Kati-Kati restaurant that Tanga’s disrespectful character is unbecoming and intolerable among party cadres, requiring immediate replacement.
