The latest information reaching us reveals that the Ruparelia Group of Companies Chairman has embarked on plans to erect a Primary School (P1-P7) and a Hospital along Entebbe Road to benefit low income earners around the community of Lutembe mostly. The tycoon owns Uganda's largest flower farm at Lutembe which directly employs over 1750 people and the projects will directly benefit them and their families on top of the entire community.
Sudhir undoubtedly Uganda's biggest private employer putting food to table to over 7500 people employed in his various businesses ranging from hospitality, education, finance, media, healthcare, floriculture, among many others. In an exclusive interview, he confirmed the forthcoming projects and in his words said that; "Affordable Health and Education service should not be a privilege exclusively for the rich but rather for everyone including the poorest of the poor that is why we decided to come up with this project to reach out to the community around our farm but also to our members of staff at the farm and their families," said Sudhir.
The hospital according to Sudhir will be equipped with modern equipment and will be able to handle most health issues.
The work is already underway and the projects are scheduled to be fully operational early next year.
Besides that, the tycoon is among the best charity contributors in the country. According to sources, the project will cost a whooping $4m (about sh15b).
