The patron of the Boda Boda 2010 Association, Mr Abdullah Kitatta has implored the Commander in chief of armed forces President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni to pardon him and other incarated members of his association so

that they can be freed from prison.

Weeping Kitata said all this on Tuesday as he was being remanded again to Makindye military barracks cells on charges of unlawful possession of firearms. He was taken back to prison after he accepted to take plea. Kitatta had to make a U turn and accept to take a plea of not guilty after his lawyers had failed to secure a court order blocking military court martial from trying him on cases of unlawful possession of firearms, bullets and military uniforms. His legal counsels at first had challenged the army court from trying Kitata on the basis that it lacked jurisdiction.{googleads right}

Speaking to his relatives,Kitatta instructed them to go and look for president Museveni and apologise on his behalf so that he can pardon him as an NRM cadre. Kitatta is jointly charged with Mr John Ssebandeke, a crime preventer in Nabweru in Wakiso District, and members of Boda Boda 2010 Association; Joel Kibirige, Matia Ssenfuka, Hassan Ssebata, Jonathan Kayondo and Hassan Ssengoba. Others are Sunday Ssemogerere, Hussein Mugema, Fred Bwanika, Amon Twinomujuni. After denying the charges,the suspects were remand all of you to Luzira government prison and Makindye Military Barracks by the court chairman, Lt Gen Andrew Gutti until March 19.
