11th Parliament performance in perspective

As 2023 closes, we take a deeper perspective into the performance of the 11th Parliament thus far.

The 11th Parliament has so far had 257 sittings where 75 Bills have been passed, 4 withdrawn.

109 resolutions have been adopted and 14 motions authorizing government to seek finances have been approved, to finance the Budget.

27 Members of Parliament (MPs) have been granted leave to introduce private Members Bills while 126 reports have been adopted.

665 questions have been responded to by the Prime Ministers question time in furtherance of accountability, 602 of which were urgent questions.

The 11th Parliament looks forward to achieving more in the next two and half years.
