The people of Kamwenge are in a state of fear and panic after the suspected ADF rebels attacked a village in Kamwenge District on Christmas night and killed three people who included an old woman and two grand children.
The incident happened in Nyabitusi 1 village , Busingye parish in Kamwenge Sub County in Kamwenge District on Christmas night. These were attacked in their house, killed and the house destroyed and burnt to ashes.
The news were broke by the area District Councilor and also Secretary for Works Kamwenge District Muhwezi Yonan.
The incident follows an attack a week ago where ten people were left dead in a neighbor in parish of Kyabandara Parish in Kamwenge District. Security deployed in the area and also trained community vigilantes called LDUs who have been since undergoing training.
