In a generous contribution towards education and community development, businessman and philanthropist Byoona Ambrose Kabango has donated 200 bags of cement to aid the construction of a new study campus for Team University in Kamwenge District, Western Uganda.

Kabango emphasized the need to prioritize education, describing it as the cornerstone of sustainable development. “Investing in education is investing in the future,” he stated, urging university lecturers and supporters to champion education as a means to secure a brighter tomorrow for the next generation. He further committed to addressing the challenges educators face, highlighting his ongoing dedication to advancing education.

Kabango’s contribution to community development extends beyond this donation. Through previous initiatives, he has supported several schools and churches with construction materials and has empowered thousands of households in Kamwenge by distributing coffee seedlings through Kabango Coffee, bolstering local agricultural development.

Unlike many public figures who only make such contributions during political campaigns, Kabango has consistently avoided the political arena, focusing instead on community service. His philanthropic work has been driven purely by a passion for uplifting others, irrespective of political gains.

Byoona Ambrose Kabango currently serves as the Managing Director of West Holdings International Limited, which is actively engaged in constructing two major cement factories in Karamoja and Buikwe Districts, further exemplifying his commitment to fostering economic growth across Uganda.
