Angry residents of Kagadi have vandalized the home of the LCV Chairperson, Hon Yosia Ndibwami, in retaliation for the politician’s act of running over a 25-year old man who was protesting for poor roads.

A video went viral on social media when Ndibwami’s speeding double cabin truck ran over an unidentified young man killing him on the spot.

The Police arrested Ndibwami’s driver and recorded a statement from the LCV as the investigation continues.

Yesterday, the Speaker of Parliament Rt Hon Anitah Annet Among said that justice must be served for the heinous act that led to the loss of life for the young man.

One of the roles of the LCV is periodical maintenance of district roads to ensure they are passable and in good shape to facilitate the movement of goods and people throughout the district.
