The staff at Entebbe International Airport has been busy today than usual as guests, especially Speakers of Parliament of various countries arrived in the country for the Speakers Conference and Presiding Officers of the Commonwealth (CSPOC) slated to kick off tomorrow at the Commonwealth Resort Munyonyo in Kampala.
The Speaker of Parliament, Rt. Hon Anitah Annet Among, welcomed her counterpart Rt. Hon Sooroojdev Phokeer, Speaker of Mauritius at Entebbe.
Among has been taking turns with her Deputy Rt Hon Thomas Tayebwa in welcoming the guests who will spend the next 4 days in the country.
The conference starts tomorrow for three days until Saturday January 06, 2024.
