Common Wealth Speakers visit Entebbe zoo!

The Speakers from the Common Wealth countries who attended their 27th Conference were taken to a tour of the Uganda Wild Life Education Centre Commonly known as Entebbe zoo.

They were led by the Deputy Speaker of Parliament the Rt Hon Thomas Tayebwa.

The visiting Speakers also planted memorial trees as a Commitment to conserving environment. It should be noted that Climate Change was among the key areas of focus During the conference.

Tourism experts welcomed the move as this is going to promote Uganda’s tourism sector now that such dignitaries go back home knowing the beauty that Uganda has.

They visited among others Namugongo matyes shrine, Ndere cultural centre among others
