Kabale Municipality MP argues youth to work hard!

The Kabale Municipality MP Dr Nicholas Kamara has argued youths to work hard by investing in developmental things like agriculture, business and education.

Kamara made the remarks at the confirmation function of 604 people into the Catholic faith held at Christ the King Parish Church in Kabale District

The main celebrant who confirmed the candidates was the Rt Rev Bishop Callist Rubaramira, the bishop Kabale Diocese.

Bishop Rubaramira in his homily, urged Christians to love and use the gifts they received when they received the holy spirit during the confirmation. He called upon them to follow the example of St Paul who travelled in different nations spreading the Gospel of God.

Hon Kamara, the Kabale Municipality MP in his message hailed the bishop for his commitment to the development of Kigezi region. He also urged youths to avoid alcohol, early marriages and drug abuse which are becoming rampant in the country. Kamara’s advice was also re-echoed by Hon Catherine Ndamira Atwakire the woman MP Kabale District who called upon the youths to avoid bad peer groups which may lead them into early marriages, alcoholism, drug abuse , among others.

Mr Odo Tumukwasibwe, the chairman Parish council Christ the King welcomed the Lord Bishop for confirming 604 candidates into the Catholic faith. He highlighted about the projects of the Parish, like the children’s chapel, Muchahi sub Parish among others!

In attendence was Hon Nshangabasheija Nelson, the Kabale District LCV Chairperson, Hon Steven Kasyaba, the Rubanda District Chairperson and Hon Catheline Ndamira Atwakiire, the Kabale district woman MP.
