During the consideration of Kampala City Council Authority (KCCA) Education and Sports proposed budget, Members of Parliament (MPs) wondered why Government wants to spend over Sh3b on activities of KCCA’s Football Club in the 2024/25 Financial Year.
Sh4.083b was allocated for sports, recreation and physical education sector.
The MPs feel other areas shall not receive adequate input if KCCA FC receives almost 90% of the money allocated to fund the sports sector of the institution.
