The President of Uganda Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has granted an Official Burial to the late, Hon Cecilia Ogwal, Dokolo District Woman Member of Parliament.
This latest development has led to some adjustment to the program for Ogwal’s send off although the dates haven’t changed. That means that the government will handle the burial expenses. The President will also attend the vigil of the late Cecilia Ogwal!
This announcement was made by the Minister of Presidency Milly Babalanda, “I wish to inform you that the President of the Republic of Uganda, H.E Gen (Rtd) Kaguta Museveni, has granted an official burial to the Hon. Cecilia Atim Ogwal , the fallen Dokolo District Woman Representative” a statement by Babalanda reads in part. “Furthermore, H.E the President will personally attend the vigil in honour of the Late at Parliament” reads the statement!
Meanwhile preparations are going on with a meeting chaired by Government Whip Hamson Obua taking place today at Parliament to discuss the arrangements.
