Neighbor tell how city lawyer was gunned down

A section of the deceased city lawyer,’s neighbors have narrated how his murderer’s waylaid him at his gate before shooting him at close range and killing him instantly.
” The merciless killer first fired at him from a distance, withdrew but returned in a few moments and fired at him ensuring he is dead” said one of the nearby neighbors who said there were two shooting intervals.
Mr Mukisa now deseasesd was tragically murdered on Tuesday evening by unidentified assailants. Mukisa, 45, had just returned to his residence in Kitiko_ Birongo village , Ndejje Division in Makindye Ssabagabo municipality off Kajjansi, along Entebbe Road.

The 45-year-old was ambushed by armed gunmen who seem to have either followed him or waited for him at his apartment.
The Kampala Metropolitan Police have confirmed the murder and Deputy spokesperson Luke Owoyesigyire said they are on ground to identify the killers and bring them to book.
Mukisa who worked with IBC Advocates housed on Namanda Plaza, had just returned home at about 11:00 pm and as he moved out of his car which he kept in full lights to close the gate he was fired at and died insitantly.
Neighbors say the assailants took off by use of a waiting bike.
Police said the canine dogs only helped find cartridges and the spot from which the killers jumped on their motorcycle.
His murder follows multiple other gun murder around Kampala especially with in Wakiso district and other parts of the country recently.
The police have appealed to the public for any information that could help them in their investigation. They are asking anyone who may have seen anything suspicious in the area of Mukisa’s residence on Tuesday evening to come forward.
