The President’s Office is seeking for Sh34.360b to buy vehicles, computers, and office furniture for all the offices of the Resident District Commissioners (RDCs) countrywide.
But only Sh22.360b has been allocated for this in the 2024/25 national budget hence leaving a funding gap of Sh12b.
The Office of the President is also wants for Sh5.517b to monitor and evaluate the NRM Manifesto, Sh2.058b to monitor Cabinet Decisions, and Sh4.7b to monitor the Parish Development Model (PDM).
The Office of the President has also requested Parliament to avail it with Sh4.5b to train 225,000 Ugandans on patriotism ideology and conduct mindset change within 20 Communities in the financial year 2024/25.
The Office is also seeking for Sh3.5b to procure medals and conduct research on the proposed nominees to receive the medals. But only Sh2.1b was availed in the budget leaving a gap of Sh1.4b.
