Security agencies have warned the opposition activists against holding demonstrations in Kampala during the ongoing Non Allied Movement Summit in Kampala.

“Therefore, any violent acts committed in any part of the country, under the guise of peaceful protests, shall be swiftly disrupted, investigated, perpetrators arrested and charged to court. We also call upon the public to help us identify actors who are actively mobilizing and instigating violence within the community” Spokesperson Police Fred Enanga said.

For his case the Deputy RCC for Rubaga Division Anderson Bulola warned anyone not to engage in the planned opposition demonstration against poor roads in Kampala this Thursday. Burora says it’s shameful action for Kampala lord Mayor Elias Lukwago to mobilise the public to involve themselves in Planting trees and other materials like Banana plants in the city road, to protest the poor road state.
