Parliament will today continue to scrutinise the National Budget Framework Paper with the Health and Education Committees scheduled to scrutinize Health and Education budgets respectively.
Dr. Charles Ayume, the head of the Health Committee is expected to lead his team in considering the Budget for the Minister of Health and Uganda Virus Research Institute.
The Education Committee headed by John Twesigye is going to consider budgets for Mbarara University, Kabale University, Mountains of the Moon University and Busitema University.
Relatedly, the Defence and Internal Affairs Committee is expected to consider the budget for Uganda People’s Defence Forces (UPDF).
The Education Committee will later in the afternoon consider budgets for National Council of Higher Education, National Curriculum Development Centre and Education Service Commission.
