PLU combs Sembabule ahead of Gen Muhoozi visit to Masaka!

The leadership of the Patriotic League of Uganda led by the Central Committee members Hon Micheal Mawanda, Frank Gashumba, Balam Barugahara and David Kabanda spent their day in Sembabule town where they conducted a baraza meeting intended to highlight the challenges affecting the local population.
The baraza was organized by the are MP Shartis Musherure and the Masaka region coordinator for PLU and Minister for Microfinance Haruna Kasolo among others. In attendance was also Aine Sodo the young brother of President Museveni who contested with Shartis Musherure in a hotly contested election.

The baraza was aimed at mobilizing people ahead of Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba visit to the greater Masaka scheduled for 15th March 2024.
The team also visited Kyotera district where similar meetings were held on the 29th March 2024.
Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba is expected to contest for President in 2026 elections and these meetings form part of the mobilisation for his Presidential bid
