President Museveni Commends Seku for Bukedi Zonal Tour Success, Patriotism Drive

The Commissioner for National Secretariat for Patriotism Corps-NSPC Ms Hellen Seku who is also the Private Secretary for the President in charge of Youth Affairs played a pivotal role in organizing the recent Zonal Tour, which saw President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni interact with the people within the area regarding issues of wealth creation and patriotism.

The Zonal Tour also saw the head of State meet with 201 national patriotism coordinators from secondary schools across the country at Mbale State Lodge.

Ms Seku’s efforts led to a massive turnout of people in Bukedi Sub-region, showcasing the community’s exceptional spirit and intensified strategies to support Museveni come 2026 polls.

One coordinator commented that Ms Seku who is the Chief Program Coordinator for the Presidential Zonal tours has done what the generals who were in the Patriotism office had failed to do for the last 15yrs, despite being a young woman.

The tour was held under the theme “Securing Your future through Wealth Creation”.

On Social Media, Ms Seku expressed her gratitude to the people of Bukedi Sub-region for warmly welcoming President Museveni during his Parish Development Model -PDM assessment tour.

“Salute to all people of Bukedi sub-region for the warm welcome and love you showed the President @KagutaMuseveni during his PDM assessment tour! Your hospitality and enthusiasm truly reflects the region’s exceptional community Spirit” , said Ms Seku.

Ms Seku also shared her delightful experience with the Bukedi community, cheering on President Museveni and celebrating the conclusion of his impactful three-day zonal tour.

As Patriotism Secretariat, Ms Seku emphasized their discussion with President Museveni centered on the true essence of patriotism and effective strategies to instill it in all Ugandans.

Thousands of people heeded to Ms Seku ‘s call to join President Museveni in the Zonal Tour in Bukedi region.

The discussion aimed to develop resourceful, responsible, disciplined, and resilient citizens loyal and ready to defend Uganda. Ms Seku’s dedication to promoting patriotism and youth empowerment was evident throughout the whole event.

President Museveni commended Commissioner Seku for bringing together the coordinators, accomplishing what he said he last did through Zonal Tours in 2009.
