Speaker Among holds talks with Vietnam Vice President!
The Speaker of Parliament Rt Hon Anitah Among has held bilateral talks with H.E. Vo Thi Anx Xuan, the Vice President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam where they agreed to foster collaborations in agriculture, technology & investment. The meeting took place at Parliament of Uganda, on the sidelines of NAM Summit that is taking place in Kampala.
In her remarks, Anitah Among said Uganda and Vietnam have enjoyed numerous united factors like agriculture, and it is of paramount importance to enhance collaboration and knowledge-sharing between the two countries and parliaments.
H.E Xuan said Vietnam attaches much importance to its cooperation with Uganda and further appreciates the support that people of Uganda extended to Vietnam in their past struggles for national independence and reunification.
