Speaker celebrates Christmas weekend with electorates
The Speaker of Parliament, Rt Hon Anitah Annet Among, today dined with her electorates in Bukedea during the Akogo festival.
Hundreds of people turned up and many shouted congratulated her upon the bundle of joy she was blessed with her husband Hon Moses Magogo.
“It is always a vibe touching base with my amazing people in Bukedea. I was excited to join them in the Akogo festival, a celebration of the beautiful culture of the Iteso,” Among posted on her X social media platform.
Before the function, she inspected final works at the Bukedea Teaching Hospital in Bukedea Sub County, Bukedea County in Bukedea District, set to officially open early next year.
