The Speaker of Parliament for the Republic of Ghana the Rt Hon Sumana Albany Kingsford Babgin has jetted into the country ahead of the 27th Common Wealth Speakers and Presiding Officers Conference scheduled for this week.
Babgin was welcomed into the country by the Deputy Speaker of Parliament of Uganda the Rt Hon Thomas.
Babgin was accompanied and his wife, Linda Bagbin at Entebbe Airport.
Bagbin is a senior legislator having served as Deputy Speaker, Minister for Health, Water Resources, Works & Housing.
The Common Wealth Speakers and Presiding Officers Conference will be held at Commonwealth Resort Hotel Munyonyo and will take place from 3rd to 6th Jan 2024
