Tayebwa chairs organizing Commitee meeting for the Speakers Conference!
The Deputy Speaker of Parliament Thomas Tayebwa has chaired the Organizing Commitee for the 27th Commonwealth Speakers and Presiding Officers Conference scheduled for 3rd to 6th January 2024.
The Commitee Chaired by Hon Abdu Katuntu is finalizing the preparation for the high level Conference which will be held at Common Wealth Resort Hotel Munyonyo.
Sources at Parliament say that several staff and Members of Parliament, along with other stakeholders have discontinued their Christmas and New Year holidays to thoroughly prepare for the upcoming conference.
Various activities are scheduled to be undertaken during the conference including tree planting, visiting the Namugongo Martyrs’ Shrine, Uganda Wild Life Education Center, Makerere University, among other activities as revealed by the Rt. Hon. Thomas Tayebwa.
