President Museveni to address Nation of Security matters
Tomorrow January 09, 2024 President and Commander In Chief (CIC) of the armed forces of Uganda, Rtd. Gen Yoweri Kaguta Museveni will address the nation on matters of security at 8pm.
His address comes exactly one week since unknown assailants attempted to murder Pastor Aloysius Bugingo and murdered his bodyguard Corporal Richard Muhumuza at Namungoona in Kampala.
There has been a spate of terrorist attacks by the Allied Democratic Forces (ADF) in the Rwenzori region in the recent past.
The President has repeatedly told Ugandans to be vigilant especially by identifying new people in the community and to work closely with Police by reporting any suspicious person in the community.
