Ministry of Finance lays its projection for 2024/25 budget framework to Parliament

The Ministry of Finance has indicated that the 2024/25 budget framework paper is projected at Sh52.722tn, of which, Uganda Revenue Authority is expected to collect Sh29.957tn in taxes.

Government plans to spend Sh23.977tn on debt repayment & obligations, while at the same time borrow Sh8.876tn from the external lenders to finance several projects and secure additional loans to a tune of Sh4.116tn from the domestic market.

Parliament will this afternoon continue scrutinizing the considerations of the 2024/25 National Budget Framework Paper.
