Parliament defeats Judiciary by 7 goals to 1 in a friendly match

Parliament of Uganda has defeated the Judiciary by 7 goals to one in  a friendly match game that was played by the Members of Parliament and judicial officers at Philp Omonde stadium in Kampala on the 7th Dec 2023. The match was aimed at networking and building a good working environment between the two arms of government.

Among the players on the Parliament side included Hon Mwijukye Francis the MP for Buhweju who scored two goals, Goffrey Lutaaya, Asumani Basalirwa, Moses Magogo who was team captain among others while the judiciary was led by Supreme Court Justice Mike Chibita who was a goal keeper among others.

Parliament and Judiciary team ready to start the match

Parliament held these games ahead of East African Parliamentary games which have just kicked off in Kigali Rwanda and Uganda is represented by several MPs and staff who were flagged off by the Speaker of Parliament Annet Anita Among.
