Stop the blackmail, – MK Movement hits at Bobi Wine

The MK Movement has warned the National Unity President leader Robert Sentamu Kyagulanyi against blackmail and asked him to apologise to the Kyabazinga of Busoga His Highness Gabula Nadiope iv over the statements that he made regarding his failure to attend the royal wedding. In a video circulating on social media, Kyagulanyi said that he was invited for the royal wedding which took place on 18th November 2023 at Bugembe cathedral but was blocked by security of the President and his son Gen Muhoxi Kainerugaba.

In the video Kyagulanyi claims that he was abriad but cut short his journey and travelled back on the 17th of November to attend the wedding but later got information that there was an order stopping him from attending the said function by the security of the President and first son. However, Kyagulanyi did not tell tell the source of information stopping him from attending the wedding. In a statement by the MK Central committee read by Hon Micheal Mawanda together with Frank Gashumba and Baram Barugahara, the MK Movement condemned Kyagulanyi for such unfounded talk and politics of blackmail and hate!

They asked Kyagulanyi to apologize for Busoga, the Kyabazinga and the friends of Busoga for such utterances, “we were not the organizer’s of the event and we could not determine who attends the function or not” the statement read in part. “we dont abuse or attack our opponents but we persuade them to join our side” Baram Barugahara the Vice Chair MK Movement said.

Gen Muhozi Kainerugaba was received with excitement and the royal wedding which he attended as a friend of the Kyabazinga whom he gifted with 10 cows!
