Team Uganda unstoppable at the East African Community Inter-Parliamentary Games in Rwanda

Uganda Parliament has continued it’s prolific performance at the ongoing East African Community Inter-Parliamentary Games taking place in Kigali City, Rwanda.

After dominating Volleyball and Basketball, coming out on top on Saturday, this morning the legislators have not looked back.

Members of Parliament Hon Julius Acon, Hon Benard Onen, Hon Joan Alobo, and Hon Hellen Auma emerged victorious in different athletics events.

The Deputy Speaker Rt Hon Thomas Tayebwa congratulated the winners and encouraged the team to work harder to defend the trophies. Uganda is the defending champions.

The Games end next week on Tuesday and President Paul Kagame is expected to be guest of honour during the closure.
