Museveni to deliver Christmas message tomorrow

President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni will tomorrow at 8pm interacting with journalists on a range of issues at State Lodge, Nakasero.

The Commander In Chief of the armed forces of Uganda will use the same event to deliver his Christmas message to the public.

The President is expected to talk about the state of national security, corruption, government plans for the forthcoming year among others.

Ugandans in the Rwenzori region continue to suffer from the insurgencies caused by the Allied Democratic Forces (ADF) based in the forests Eastern Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).

In October the ADF attacked and killed two foreign tourists and their Ugandan driver.

On June 16, the group attacked a school in Mpondwe town, Kasese District and killed 42 people who included 38 students and left 8 people critically injured.

Just this week, the same group attacked and killed 10 people in Kamwenge district.
