Deputy Speaker Tayebwa hails crown beverages

The Speaker of Parliament the Rt Hon Thomas Tayebwa has hailed the Crown beverages for the great work done in developing our country and for the thirty years transformation.

This happened yesterday (Thursday) evening at the thanksgiving dinner for directors, staff, and friends of Crown Beverages Limited known as Pepsi held at Serena Hotel, Kampala.

“I deeply appreciate the remarkable impact that Crown Beverages has had on our beloved country’s economy. They have not only provided numerous employment opportunities to over 10,000 hardworking Ugandans but have also paved the way for countless individuals to explore various business prospects” Tayebwa said.

Tayebwa said that the company has grown since 1993 when it was privatized and is now, they paying over 200bn annually in taxes and producing over 80 million crates annually from 1.8 millon crates that was being produced!

Tayebwa also congratulated Crown Beverages for having expanded its reach even further by acquiring the franchise for Pepsi Kenya. “This monumental achievement is a testament to the extraordinary capabilities of a fully Ugandan-owned company. It fills me with immense joy to witness such tremendous success on both a national and regional scale” Tayebwa said.

He also assured them of government support, “it is our duty to safeguard and extend unwavering support to these visionary entrepreneurs who serve as the very foundation upon which our economy thrives. Their accomplishments truly exemplify the spirit of progress and prosperity that we aspire to achieve” Tayebwa Said
