Amama Mbabazi joins Speaker to welcome guests for Speakers’ Conference!

Former Prime Minister of Uganda John Patrick Amama Mbabazi who was at Entebbe International Airport VIP terminal joined the Speaker of Parliament to welcome the guests ahead of the Speakers Conference.

Amama Mbabazi was excited to meet Uganda’s Parliament team led by Speaker Annet Anita Among and her Deputy Thomas Tayebwa.

The Common Wealth Speakers and Presiding Officers Conference kicks off today as the arrival of delegates and it will be officially opened tomorrow 4th Jan 2024. The conference will discuss among others issues regarding how to ensure neutrality in handling Parliament business in the Common Wealth countries and to ensure that people’s views are well expressed.
