Speaker Among holds talks with Malaysia Speaker!

The Speaker of Parliament of Uganda Rt Hon Anita Annet Among has held talks with the Speaker of Malaysia Johari Abdul ahead of the 27th Common Wealth Speakers and Presiding Officers Conference that will be held in Kampala beginning from tommorrow.

In the meeting Speaker Anitah Among said that Uganda looks forward to deepening investment cooperation with Malaysia, and to deepen bilateral relations between the two Parliaments.

Speaker Johari said the East & Africa cooperation is what will drive the creation of opportunities for the emerging population and also lay a strong claim to the future of the 21st century. He also offered to interest Malaysian investors in Uganda’s agriculture sector.
