Parliament has today approved the four back bench Commissioners of Parliament for the next two and a half years.
Parliament approved the nomination of Hon. Esther Afoyochan, Hon. Prossy Akampurira, Hon. Solomon Silwany and Hon. Mathias Mpuuga as the new back bench Parliamentary Commissioners.
The three Commissioners from NRM have been in office since 2021 while the only new person on the Commission is the Hon Mathias Mpuuga who was dropped from the office of the Leader of the Opportunity in Parliament.
The Parliamentary Commission is the management body that runs Parliament business
