The National Vice Chairman of the MK Movement Frank Gashumba has visited the hospitalized MK supporter who was lynched by NUP goons in Kampala this week.

The NUP goons who are known to be violent and heartless attacked Turyamureba Benjamin in Kajansi a Kampala suburb and lynched him that his face couldn’t be recognized and he is currently nursing wounds in Kampala.

Gashumba who visited Turyamureba in the hospital condemned this act and demanded that police brings the culprits to book. “I call upon the Police to investigate and bring the culprits to book!” Gashumba demanded. He also wondered when it became a crime to wear an MK Movement T-shirt.

Also Gashumba wondered how NUP would handle power with such a character , “If NUP supporters can commit such heinous acts before they “take over” power, what will happen when God “borrows” them power?” Gashumba questioned!

NUP supporters have had a record of beating opposition supporters mainly attacking people from Western Uganda yet they have a right to support any political side of their choice.

During the 2020 elections demonstrations, NRM people were targeted and beaten by these NUP supporters. Last year NUP President Robert Kyagulanyi was stopped from holding rallies when he started running a hate campaign against non Baganda in Luwero District.
