Totoro North Constituency Member of Parliament, Hon Geoffrey Ekanya, has called for amendment to the Administration of Parliament Act in order to allow political parties host bodies of their deceased MPs at their respective party headquarters in order to allow its members to pay their last respect.
“There are certain activities that the party would have loved like taking the body to the party headquarters to view, but there is a gap in the Administration of Parliament Act and we need to look at it with the view of amending so that if a member of NUP, NRM passing if the Party body members want to pay their last respect, the body is taken,” said Ekanya.
