Dear Gen Museveni, greetings! During your address to the NRM MPs in Kyankwanzi, you said that people around Gen MK are motivated by selfish interests and therefore looking for their own survival but not the country!
Your excellence it was quite embarrassing hearing such a statement coming from you. Indeed as the saying goes that those staying in glass houses should not throw stones, how could it be you talking about selfishness yet you are the number one selfish person in the world? Do you know that saying Museveni and the word selfishness is actually a repetition?
Your excellence, because of your selfishness you duped young men and women, took them to Luwero bushes claiming to fight for the country yet you were hoodwinking them! And indeed after capturing power, neither did you return the stolen victory of the 1980 elections to the Democratic Party nor have you handed over power peacefully after 37 years even when you had equivocally stated that the problems of Africa were leaders who overstay in power! What more selfishness is beyond that one?
Your excellence, because you are selfish and egoistic, you have appointed your entire family in government as if they are the only qualified Ugandans to occupy government positions. Your wife as a Minister of education, your son Gen Muhozi is a Presidential advisor and defacto army commander while your brother Gen Saleh is a Presidential advisor, coordinator of Operation Wealth Creation & the defacto Vice President. Your stepbrother Bright Rwamirama is a Minister for animal husbandry while his son Mwine Mpaka is the MP for Mbarara City and his cousin Steven Kangwagye is an MP in Isingiro. Your sister in law Hon Kaboyo who stole glibal fund money is a Minister for Luwero while another one Susan Muhwezi is a Presidential advisor on AGOA and her husband Jim Muhwezi who also stole glibal fund money is a Minister of Security!
A close relative to your wife Dr Diana is a Permanent Secretary, her sister works in the National Medical Stores and is married to Hon Dan Kimosho who is the MP Kazo and another sister to Dr Diana is married to Hon Frank Tumwebaze who is the Minister for Agriculture and animal Husbandry!
Your elder sister Dr Violet Kajubiri is Vice Chairperson Education Service Commission while your son in law Odrek Rwabwogo is a Presidential advisor and his wife is a Presidential Assistant on household affairs. The list is endless, and my question remains whether there is any human being as selfish as you in this world?
Mr President, if you are not selfish why have you not allocated money to pay teachers, doctors or policemen yet you allocated yourself and your office 1.2 trillion in this Budget? If you are not selfish why didn’t you provide money for medical interns but provided 37 billion to your son in law Odrek Rwabwogo? If you are not selfish how do you spend one million every day to buy clothes when hospitals have no medicine? Can any body pay a million for those shirts you put on or indeed it’s corruption?
You who is not selfish how do you travel with a Mobile toilet costing billions when there is no Public toilet from Arua to Kisoro or how do you get protected by close to 30,000 SFC soldiers when your voters are being killed without security? You who is not selfish how comes you are the only leader in the world whom people must test for COVID-19 before meeting you and tax payers end up losing billions of money?
Your excellence, even if the people around Gen MK were selfish as you insinuated, aren’t some of them your family members? Isn’t Micheal Toyota who is chairman MK Movement your young brother? Isn’t Shedrack Nzeire your brother? Are you not proving that you share the same DNA of selfishness & greed for power?
Isn’t Baram Barugahara your friend who even invited you to open his radio in Masindi? Isn’t it Andrew Mwenda your close ally who has unlimited access to state house? Isn’t Honorables Mawanda Micheal, Lilian Aber and David Kabanda all NRM MPs? Isn’t only Frank Gashumba the outsider on the team? So were you not shooting in your own foot by saying that MK is sounded by opportunists yet they are your close ally’s?
Mr President, in 2005 didn’t you amend the whole constituon to remove term limits when you realized you were the only Ugandan disqualified to stand for President? Didn’t you remove age limit from our constitution in 2017 when you realized you didn’t qualify to stand? Didn’t you ring fence the position of the NRM Chairman and flag bearer so that no body contests with you calling yourself a sole candidate? Doesn’t all that speak to your high level of selfishness and egocentrism?
Mr President, save us the arrogance and save us the impunity; we have seen how selfish you are that you have no moral authority to speak about selfishness! Our country is burning because of your selfishness!!!
