After ADF rebels killed three people on the eve of Christmas, the UPDF combed the bushes in Kibaale National Park to hunt for these rebels where two of them including a Commander called Kanusu has been put out of action and one other injured.
The news were confirmed by the Police Spokesperson Fred Enanga today as he addressed the press on Post Christmas Security situation
The Operation is continuing and the rebels are being hunted down.
Meanwhile the recruitment of vigilantes and LDUs is ongoing in all the subcounties near Kibale National Park coordinated by security agencies.
The bodies of the three people that were killed by the rebels have been released from Rukunyu Hospital and have been buried today in Nyabitusi in Kamwenge District.
The rebels attacked Kyabandara Parish in Kamwenge District and killed ten people in mid December and again attacked Nyabitutsi a neighboring village to Kyabandara where they killed an old woman and her two grand children
