Common Wealth Speakers treated to Uganda’s cultural heritage

The guests who attended the 27th Common Wealth Speakers and Presiding Officers Conference in Uganda were yesterday evening treated to Ugandans rich cultural experience through music dance and drama at Ndere cultural centre in Kampala.

The event was attended by dignitaries who attended the conference and dance from the different cultural backgrounds was showcased.

This event was part of the efforts to promote Uganda’s tourism sector through this conference.

According to tourism experts, such events are good because they promote international and local people to know about Uganda. “This event has promoted Ndere Cultural center even among Ugandans, there are many Ugandans who didn’t know about it and by the Speakers visiting the place, has given it a big name and now many Ugandans will want to visit it” Godon a tourism player and expert told our reporter.

He added, that the Conference as a whole has promoted Uganda as a country, “all eyes are on Uganda, it’s a big boost to our sector” Gordon added
