Deputy Speaker Tayebwa discusses Pan Africanism with Nigerian King!

The Deputy Speaker of Parliament Rt Hon Thomas Tayebwa has hosted a delegation from the Nigerian Kingdom of Warri in the Delta State at his office at Parliament.

The delegation was led by the highly esteemed King, His Majesty Ogiame Atuwatse III, accompanied by his dear wife, Her Royal Highness Olori Atuwatse III, chiefs, and other esteemed kingdom officials.

During their discussions, Tayebwa underscored the imperative of solidifying the principles of Pan-Africanism, wherein Africans must continue to treasure their heritage and the distinctiveness that is inherent in our diverse cultures.

He also appealed to African leaders at all levels to ensure that the interconnectedness of Africa is bolstered and leveraged to facilitate unrestricted movement and trade, utilizing our national couriers.

Furthermore, Tayebwa urged His Highness the King and his delegation to explore the abundant investment opportunities that Uganda has to offer.
