Dr. Charles Ngabirano has today been officially nominated to run for Member of Parliament for Rwampara East Constituency in Rwampara District. The nomination took place in Kampala, led by Dr. Tanga Odoi and his team from the electoral commission.

Speaking after his nomination, Dr. Ngabirano said he has many important projects that he wants to continue and improve. One of these is the coffee processing project, which is helping many families earn more money. He also wants to improve roads, bring more electricity to villages, and make sure people have clean water.
“These projects are very important for our people,” he said. “We need to make sure they move forward, and we will work hard to get support and funding from the government.”

Dr. Ngabirano also called for peace during the election period. He asked both his supporters and his opponents to remain calm and avoid any form of violence.
“We must have a peaceful election. Our community needs unity, not fights,” he said.
He also said he believes he is ahead of his main opponent in the race and is confident about winning. However, he warned that any attempts to cause violence will not be accepted.
“I am peaceful, but I will not allow anyone to disrupt this election with violence,” he said.
Dr. Ngabirano now returns to Rwampara to continue his campaign, promising to serve the people and complete the development projects he started.
Ngabirano has been nominated ahead of the July 16th 2025 elections for flag bearers within the internal party structures.
