East African games will promote East African Community federation

Parliamentary East African Community games which will be held in Kigali – Rwanda starting from 7th Dec 2023 will help to popularize the federation process. The remarks were made by the Hon Asuman Basalirwa (MP Bugiri Municipality), the Chairperson of Parliamentary Sports Club as the MPs and staff of Parliament were being flagged off for the said games in Kigali Rwanda. The said MPs were flagged off by the Speaker of Parliament the Rt Hon Anita Among who asked Uganda’d delegation to come back with trophies!

Hon Asuman Basalirwa while addressing the press about the significance of these games today at Parliament said the purpose is to popularize the integration of East African Community and explain the process of integration and why it is important to integrate. He said that the games will help MPs in the region to network and socialize and build synergies for the good of the region and its integration!
