Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba visits Kakira Sugar Factory

The Senior Presidential Advisor for Special Operations Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba has visited Kakira Sugar Limited at the invitation of the company’s Managing Director, Mr Mayur Madhvani.

Gen. Kainerugaba was taken on a tour of the factory and was briefed on current production figures and future prospects.

Kakira Sugar is one of the oldest sugar factories in Uganda producing having been established in the year 1930.

The factory, which is located in Kakira, Jinja district, also produces industrial-grade ethanol, distilled from molasses, produced as a by-product of sugar manufacturing.

Gen Muhoozi who is expected to run for President of Uganda in 2026 has been meeting several investors, foreign leaders and diplomats in what is seen as strengthening his ties with such important power brokers as he prepares to lead the country.

According to our Sources form the recently launched Patriotic League of Uganda, the focus of Gen Muhoozi government will be on job creation for the youth and fighting corruption.

Therefore by meeting investors Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba is on the Right path towards dealing with unemployment!
