Ibabu bus registration number UAQ 578/ Q belonging to Ibabu Coaches, a company owned by Bukanga MP Nathan Byanyima has got an accident that has left several injured.
The said bus got an accident on Friday 23rd Feb 2024 afternoon in Kamengo – Mpigi District along Kampala – Masaka Highway.
The bus was on its way from Kampala to Kamwenge District in western Uganda.
The cause of the said accident is not yet clear but witnesses say the driver lost control of the vehicle as he was over speeding hence the accident.
By press time, efforts were underway to rush the victims to the nearby Hospitals and no deaths have so far been recorded. Police has not yet commented on the accident.
