Kyamuhunga People’s SACCO, widely known as KYAPS, is set to benefit significantly as the construction of its new headquarters nears completion. Situated in Kyamuhunga Town Council, Bushenyi District, the project marks a major milestone for KYAPS, solidifying its presence and commitment to serving the community.
The contract for constructing the state-of-the-art head office was awarded to Delcom Constructions Ltd, one of the Uganda’s leading construction companies. Sources indicate that the work has progressed smoothly, with the project now in its finishing stages.
A KYAPS member, who requested anonymity, expressed satisfaction with the quality of the work by Delcom. “We are impressed by the professionalism and dedication Delcom has shown in delivering this project,” the member said.
An area councilor further emphasized the significance of the project in promoting local business, in line with the President’s “Buy Uganda, Build Uganda” campaign. “We’re seeing the positive impact of this campaign with local companies like Delcom taking on such important projects and delivering exceptional results,” the councilor remarked.
The completion of the KYAPS headquarters is expected to not only enhance the SACCO’s operational capacity but also serve as an inspiration for other local enterprises to pursue ambitious projects that contribute to community growth and development.
