Speakers from Lesotho, Mozambique, Namibia and Zambia among the Delegates at the CSPOC!

The Speakers and Presiding Officers from Namibia, Lesotho, Zambia and Mozambique are among the Speakers that are in Uganda to attend the 27th Common Wealth Speakers and Presiding Officers Conference that is scheduled for 3rd to 6th January 2024 at Commonwealth Resort Hotel Munyonyo in Kampala.

These were received by the Deputy Speaker of Parliament the Rt Hon Thomas Tayebwa at Entebbe airport last night.

Tayebwa welcomed them to Ugandan and assured them of a good hospitality, “we as the embodiment of Ugandan hospitality, eagerly awaited their arrival to extend a heartfelt and gracious welcome” Tayebwa said as he welcomed them to Uganda.

The high level Conference is expected to discuss issues of Parliamentary democracy, climate change, fairness in presiding over the house among others.
