The Speaker of Parliament the Rt Hon Anita Annet Among and husband Moses Magogo have given out tractor to the Village Health Teams in Budiobe in a bid to promote mechanized agriculture in the district.
The tractor was given out by the two leaders on Sunday 24th Dec 2023 in Budiobe – Buyende Districts.
VHTs are volunteers who help in promoting public health and they are supervised by the Minstry of Health. The tractors were given to them in recognition of their efforts and but also as a way of empowering them through agriculture.
