Kinkizi West Member of Parliament, Hon. James Kaberuka, has called on Christians to embrace hard work as a path out of poverty.

Speaking to the congregation at Karabutungye Church of Uganda in Kihihi Town Council, Kanungu District, Kaberuka commended the believers for their commitment to constructing a new place of worship and urged them to continue supporting the project.

“As believers, we must support the work of God. The church not only strengthens our faith but also fosters unity and development in our communities,” Kaberuka said.

He praised church leaders for their dedication to spreading the gospel and their role in promoting government programs that uplift communities. He also reassured the people of Kinkizi West that essential government services, including electricity and water, are in the pipeline and will soon be delivered to the area.

Hon. Kaberuka, now serving his second term in Parliament, has earned praise for his commitment to social and economic transformation in Kinkizi West. His lobbying efforts have led to improvements in education, healthcare, and infrastructure. He has also been credited for championing the installation of an electric fence along national parks, a move that has significantly reduced human-wildlife conflicts in the constituency.
