Parliament of Uganda has passed 24 billon shillings to support the preparation for the 2027 African Cup of Nations which was duped PAMOJA!
The money was part of the Supplimentary Budget passed this week by Parliament!
Afcon has put a number of conditions on the hosting countries if they are to remain with the bid to host the Cup of nations!
The conditions include stadiums of international standard, hotels, transport means including airports access, a hospital near the stadium among others.
The money passed will do a number of activities to ensure Uganda’s readiness to host this tournament along it’s counterparts, Kenya and Tanzania.
Now with Parliament having passed this money, there is hope that Uganda is moving well in line with the preparations
