The Parliament of Uganda has passed a budget of 13 billon shillings to fund the students loan scheme!
During the 2023/24 budget, government said it didn’t have the money for the students loan scheme which caused outrage by legislators. However government found this money and it was part of the 3.5 trillion Supplimentary Budget that was passed!
